Not quite the publicity I was looking for, but . . .

. . . I have been taking advantage of it!

To whit, on several other blog sites, including xmfan.com and airamerica.com, I have noticed people deconstructing (to use a polite word :) President Bush's speech and, most notably, his closing line which refers to the "Author of Liberty." Several of these clever individuals, apparently not realizing he was alluding to the 4th stanza of the hymn "My Country 'Tis of Thee," resorted to Amazon.com to learn who might be the "Author of Liberty" -- whereupon they discovered my book! Naturally I have been taking not-so-subtle advantage of this unexpected opportunity . . .

And this reminds me of the great quote my son found online over the weekend: "Those who DO learn from history are doomed to watch all the idiots repeat it." I don't know the attribution, but I can definitely relate to the sentiment!

Cheers,
Kim
