With his estate near bankruptcy, Simon Blakesworth, Earl of Hartsfield already has a perilous secret to keep. Still, when he finds Mia Featherstone badly beaten, he doesn't hesitate to shelter her in his home and offer marriage to protect the lovely healer from her attacker. But Mia is concealing a danger this honorable earl never imagined-and can't resist.

Mia's valuable discovery on Simon's land saved her patients' lives. Now the only way she can help the man she's always loved save his home is to secretly find the rest of a cache of hidden artifacts. But their passion is making it impossible for Mia to ever walk away-even from a love that may not survive the truth.

Enticing the Earl was released in November in both print and e-copy. Here is the back cover blurb:

What is your favorite scene in the story?
I loved when Hart proposes to Mia because he does it so poorly. Instead of telling her that he’s been in love with her for years, he says tells it’s best because he can protect her. I really want to shake the man after writing that scene.

What’s different about this story from your others?
For me, it was the first time I wrote an historical where the heroine had been with other men before the hero. Not that she was a strumpet, but she had been with two lovers. It was actually fun to write their first love scene and not have to worry about how she will react to it because she’s a virgin.

What makes this story unusual for a historical?
My heroine is a wise woman or healer who has only been to London once or twice in her life. She has no care for Society because it means nothing to her. But marrying an earl means she must learn about it all. This all becomes apparent to her when at her sister-in-law’s country party, she realizes she has no idea how to dance. It’s been fun to write a series about women who aren’t part of Society.

Can you tell us about what’s coming up next for you writing wise?
Vexing the Viscount will be released in July. That is Tia’s story. She is also a wise woman but after misdiagnosing a child who subsequently dies, she runs away under the guise of helping the viscount’s brother with an addiction problem.
