Romantic Novelist Association Romance Prize 2007

The shortlist for the Romantic Novelist Association Romance Prize 2007 has been published. The prize includes the Betty Neels Rosebowl and will be awarded at a luncheon at the Savoy Hotel in London on 27 April 2007. The Romantic Novel which is for single title novels will also be awarded then as well.

AND drum roll please Gladiator's Honour made the shortlist!!!! It is a major league honor to be shortlisted, particularly with a debut novel, so I am over the moon. I get to pretend I am a very glamourous novelist and hobnob with the cream of the British publishing industry. It is basically the British equivalent of the RITAs.

Nicola Cornick's Lord Greville's Captive which has an unusual historical setting -- the English Civil War also made the shortlist.
