In November 2006, we found out my dad has lung cancer. We got through Christmas and then we hit the New Year with doctor visits and many kinds of scans.
On January 16th dad went into seizures. That day we found out he has a brain tumor and a spot on his liver. He spent a few days in the hospital. Then he started radiation for the brain tumor. He lost all his hair.
In the mean time, my mom started falling. After a hospital stay and many tests it was determined that she has a blocked carotid artery.
Then dad started chemo. They are both easily confused and not allowed to drive. I'm the scheduler. Thank God I have lots of help.
I have Fibromyalgia. It is a connective tissue disease, characterized by muscle and joint pain and chronic fatigue.
So, for the past week or so I've slept more than I've been awake. I can't focus on any one thing for any length of time. It is becoming quite annoying.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would like to hear them.
