It's Thursday and the work week is almost over. What better way to celebrate than winning a hefty stack of books from Unusual Historicals authors? Personally, I don't think you can beat that with a stick. Today's prize is a big ole stack of eight books, and all but one are signed! Isn't that cool?
False Colors (I don't know if y'all care, but this was one of my favorite books of last year.); Captain's Surrender
Personally, being able to give away all these great books is definitely putting me in the holiday spirit. It's practically Christmas, right? So to be entered in today's drawing, tell me what you want for Christmas.
Pseudo-lawyer disclosures: These books can only be shipped within the US. All entries must be accompanied by a valid email address. Void where prohibited. Don't take candy from strangers.

I'll go first. What I want for Christmas - peace on earth, goodwill towards men and a SNUGGY!
Just kidding. I already have one of those. I have a 4 yr old - Christmas for me is about making her happy, and that's all I need.
The top of my list is a new vacuum cleaner. My old one is ready for the junk heap, so a new vacuum would be great. After that, an e-reader.

For those people in my life who have been steadfast, especially through this last awful year, I would wish to give them a holiday full of love, hope, and lasting peace.
For me...my four food groups are coffee, chocolate, cheese and cookies. I do share the cheese with my cats >^,,^<

All I want for Christmas is 24 hours alone. I homeschool 6 children, ages 4-17. I can't remember the last time I woke up when Goddess called me and went to sleep in the middle of the day. I would love that.
I don't celebrate Christmas but i got what I wanted for Chanukah - a new camera and ebook gift certificates. Yeah!

(woops, somehow I posted my comment the first time w/o my name)
All I want for Christmas is a week-long ski trip. Long days of skiing and evenings reading by a big fireplace. Doesn't get much better than that.
I'm looking for an iPad to be under the tree, but I already know I'll be buying it as a present to myself - I'm not waiting for anyone else to give it to me.

Umm, is it wrong to say I want even more books? That and some new hiking shoes. Happy holidays!
I asked for James Cameron's Avatar DVD for Christmas. I love that movie.
This is a great collection. That Beverly Jenkins one looks really interesting.
Just found this website through Super Librarian's blog. I have added it my blog. All I want for Christmas is for my boys and daughter-in-law to arrive safely. It is so lovely having the kids home.
All i want for Christmas is for everyone in the family to have a great Christmas and to get to spend time with the family.

Day Four! Welcome!
I love how many people have book-related items on their lists. Are we addicts? Never say!
Thanks again for stopping by our anniversary bash, and thanks to Lorelie for putting together all our posts this week.
I want an e-reader. Also jelly roll pans. And to not be a news item after Christmas since my folks will be spending their first Christmas in 20 years together at my house this year.
All I want for Christmas is a tree. Seriously! For the last two years we didn't have a real tree because me and hubby were traveling a lot for work and decided it wasn't worth it. And also part of me thinks..oh, why kill a poor tree just to put it on display.
And yet, come Christmas morning, it just wasn't the same opening gifts around the empty-space-where-tree-should-be. :)
Thanks for coming by and commenting! Some great books in the list today by some of my favorite authors.
Selfish here.. I want a Kindle
I'd like a dishhwasher - the tall, hunky, muscular, mostly naked male model...
and books. : )
All I want for Christmas are those fabulous 8 books from Unusual Historicals. Really! Not sucking up or anything. My last day at work before the holidays is 12/17 so I need some books to help me survive!
I have Butterfly Swords on ebook, but would much rather have the real thing for my keeper shelf. I love this blog and hopefully one day I'll get to be a part of it. =)
I want my kids to come home safe and not drive me nuts (or broke) while they’re here. It’s a silly wish as it will never happen, but Christmas is a time for miracles, right? It’s odd how fast I came to LOVE a quiet, empty house. But it’ll be nice to have them here too. Anyway, don’t enter me in the contest, Carrie, but whoever wins, I hope you enjoy my contribution! Hugs to all this holiday season!
Clancy, I like how you think.
I'd very much like a new job for Christmas. Aside from that I'm just hoping for a nice, conflict-free gathering.
Peace on Earth, Good Will toward Women...and then that eco friendly house with a view of the ocean in Hawaii.

I would like a new MP3 player! Mine died last month, and I've been going crazy without one. :(
I am so delighted to come across this blog today! So, for Christmas, I want a Nook Color. Since it's already arrived, I'm pretty sure I'm getting one, so, yay!
For Christmas, I want a netbook, or an iPad (maybe)--something I can use to get on the internet when I'm helping out with my Alzheimery parents. And a bunch of books to read would be nice too--though I think I've already got/read three of the books in the prize list... I can give them away to create other fans!! :)
I want a camera. A digital one. For some reason, the last few years have gone by without me getting one. I always manage to borrow someone's or am with someone who has one and don't need my own. So, for Christmas, I'm wishing for my own little point and shoot.

I would like a Kindle and a lensbaby. I'm not getting either one but it's what i'd like.
Mostly i'd like to just get thru December.

I want more reading time!
Thanks, everyone, for participating in our anniversary bash. :)

My Christmas wish list is pretty boring. I'd like romance books for Christmas. As far as I'm concerned, I can never have too much romance in my life. I would enjoy spending the rest of my life drowning in romances. Ah.
Wish we could play Santa to all your wishes! But some wonderful stories to wisk you away for a few hours should help! Thanks for stopping by and visit us again. We're here all year when you feel like a quick escape.
All I want for Christmas is pretty Christmas tree, lots of snow and warm mittens.
I hope that I receive a Kindle this year, and I also want to spend a nice, peaceful day with my family.

For Christmas I want a job, a home, a wife, and my children back,...
but I'll settle for some free books.
For Christmas, I want more peace, tolerance and understanding all around, both in big and in small matters - and, on a more selfish note, much time to read and relax.
I really really wish the housing market got better since I'd love to ditch my big house and downsize to a smaller place. Sigh. Nothing is selling in my area. Right now I'm not in the market for new "stuff" since I'm busy getting rid of things. But a little bit better health would be a good gift. Got any of that? No, then I'd settle for some books
I just discovered this really neat blog through Wendy the Super Librarian. What a great cast of contributors and I congratulate myself on the wisdom of dropping in. I will definitely be putting your blog on my own blog list of favorite places to visit. Happy Anniversary and many thanks for the opportunity to chime in. Please enter me into the book giveaway!! Dr. J at Dr. J's Book Place -- www.drjsbookplace.blogspot.com
All I want for Christmas is nothing else expensive to go wrong with the house this year.
Fingers crossed on the giveaway, these look like great books. Thank you!
New kitty trees for all the cats!
"All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth"... wait already got those, guess I'd have to go with plenty of reading material to sustain me through dealing with family
Good health for myself and my sister -- we're both going through health crises right now. And I'd like to be able to afford to rejoin RWA and my local chapter. But I'd be happy with a bunch more books! :-)
I want to be with my famiy and my health to be better.

All I want for Christmas is safe driving weather for all of us who will be traveling. Oh, and a million dollars.
All I want for Christmas is a day, no, a week, of uninterrupted time. :)
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth . . LOL!
But seriously, folks, I haven't thought too much about what I would like for Christmas. Maybe a male cover model of my very own!;)
All I want for Christmas is my one front tooth... or the means to pay for the dentist's bill, at least. Mostly, I want health and happiness for my family and friends, online and off. Plus, a new set of tires and an e-reader will be awesome, too.

I want my entire family to be able to spend the holidays together, since I found out my brother might not be able to be there. :(

cooking lessons!

My cousin to come for the holidays *and* for there to be no drama.
Hope springs eternal.
What I want this year is books, books, books, and more books. Looks like it may be a long, snowy winter.
On my Christmas list: I'd really like that winning lottery ticket so I can pay off my mortgage and other bills. And, then tour haunted castles in Europe!
To have enough money after the general bills to give away to my favorite charities who (like everything else these days) are hard up for funds. (Stupid car bills.) In the self indulgent mood: a painting by my favorite painter who, while not famous, is still a stretch on my budget. Maybe next year I can save enough.
(Word verification: derash. Good grief, I definitely don't want that!)
All I want for Christmas is books and time to read them. I am always just happy to spend time with the family for Christmas.

I want....hmmmm....a gift card would be great. That way, you know your getting what you want *grin*

For Christmas, I'd like a HEA of my very own. Or a new new Kindle will do! ;)
I would love to buy the house I want for Christmas! Honestly, other than that, I guess I would like Amazon gift cards for buying Kindle books and a bag of M&Ms that I don't have to share with the kids!

I know I won't be getting a new computer but at least upgrading the one I have would be wonderful!
